07/02/2008 - Media Reports of Transfer Unconfirmed
Russian and respected international media are reporting that Vasily Aleksanyan will be moved today to a clinic to receive treatment. In some of the most recent reports the Federal Prison Service has suggested that it is in discussion with the Moscow Health Department as which clinic will be selected. As far as we are aware, Vasily has not yet been transferred to an appropriate facility and his treatment has not yet commenced.
The situation is developing. We will confirm the exact status when we have received formal confirmation.
